Hi Bibhudutta,

Normally, the companies that assume that most of the goods that they receive from the vendor will get cleared through Quality Inspection, make this setting so that they can account for the goods under Quality. In case you feel otherwise, you may exclude QI stocks in the MRP calculations.

The configuration is combination of the Defining check rule ( you may uncheck "include Quality Inspection Stock" in OPPJ in spro in the Check Rule 'B', 'BO' , PP etc ) and Assigning it in MM (in MRP 3 view). This controls which stocks, receipts and issues are to be taken into account in MRP.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

RKM.

Hi,

During MRP run system perform the net requirement calculation. And sorry to say but regarding MRP you have no option to exclude the QI stock during Net Requirement calculation.

You have option of only 3 type of Stock,if you want to exclude or include them in this net requirement calculation. They are,

- Stock in transfer

- Block Stock

- Restricted Stock.

You can check this in T.code OPPQ under Available stock tab.

Hello,

Pls go thru OPJJ . Maintain Check control

Here you can give the stock requirement according to the Availability check you have maintained in the material master

Please give your feedback
