Hi All,

When using command sxmb_ifr, it's failing with 'Integration Builder Address not maintained' error and opening Windows Explorer's (C:) 'SapWorkDir' directory.

System is in Post Installation Config stage.

Please help me with this issue ASAP.

Thank you,

Peter

hi Green Valley,

please check these items

1. please check if INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI rfc (from sm59) working fine.

2. please check if LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI rfc working fine

3. please check SAPAPICUST, Test working fine

4. please check if SLDCHECK working fine

5. Then please execute transaction 'sxmb_ifr' AND let us know the response

6. I presume your PI system Java Server nodes are up and online

Please report out on these items, because based on your response only we can take it further.

Hi Shekar

According to you , i have checked the following.

INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI : Internal server error

I had the same problem and it took me 4 days to figure this out. The root-cause is the Exchange Profile not importing properly.

http://<hostname>:port/exchangeProfile

Even though you will not receive any errors when importing the XML file, you need to ZIP the profile before importing it. (exchange_profile.xml.zip) Once you do that it should import successfully.

I think I can help you.Follow me to do this.

1. open http://<j2ee_host>:<j2ee_port>/exchangeProfile in ie

2. log on with xisuper

3. choose connection

4. enter all the required information

5. Choose set (if ok the right frame will view nothing)

6. choose import

7. choose /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/exchange_profile.xml

8. choose import data

9. everything will be ok O

Hi Peter,

1) Were you able to open in exchange profile?

To findout, try the following URL

http://<hostname>:<port>/exchangeProfile

2) Make sure to check connection parameters in Exchange Profile and the following values are set

com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name

com.sap.aii.connect.repository.httpport

3)Make sure your J2EE server is running. You can find out by going to the URL http://hostname:50000.

Also complete all your post installation activities.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Sam for the prompt reply.

1. I can open the URL.

2. Where to check for connection parameters in the Profile? Is there any way I can change/assign values to these parameters?

3. J2EE server is running.

One of the post installation config steps is to check sxmb_ifr, this is where I am getting the above error. I can't forward from here.

Please help.

Thanks,

Peter

Hello Peter,

is the RFC destination LCRSAPRFC working? SXMB_IFR tries to read the Integration Builder URL from the Exchange Profile using that RFC destination.

Refer to the Installation Guide - Postinstallation steps on how to create these RFC destinations in the J2EE and in the Abap stack.

Rgds.,

hello all, i am also having a similar problem.

LCRSAPRFC works fine

transaction sldcheck works fine

com.sap.aii.connect.repository.httpport is set to @com.sap.aii.server.httpport.repository@

com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name is set to @com.sap.aii.server.name.repository@

everything appears to work fine up to this point.

Hi Glen,

Are u able to open the XI homepage thru IP address ?

If so , then check your Host File Entries in your System. (drivers/etc/host)..

May be useful..
