Hi Experts,

As i am new to APO... Please advice me on my below query.

Like PP-SOP- Flexible Planning, does APO have following functionalities in SCM?

1. Planning Hierarchy,

2. Match Sales Forecast with Profit Forecast

3. Planning Versions

4. Planning Key Figures like, Wholesales, Target Stock, Target Day supply etc.,

5. Allocation of Requirements to Factories.

Menu path:- SAP menu --- APO --- Master data --- Planning Version Managment

4. Planning Key Figures like, Wholesales, Target Stock, Target Day supply etc.,

a) RSA1

b) Copy data from R/3 to BW & inturn to APO with the key figures required

5. Allocation of Requirements to Factories.

Hi Krishnan,

SCM-APO supports the following as below:-

1. Planning Hierarchy - You can plan as you wish based on MPOS defined in demand planning. ie your planning hierarchy can be modified as per productwise, customerwise, material groupwise etc., or its comibinations which will be supported by APO.

2. Match Sales Forecast with Profit Forecast - You can create separate key figures and compare in Demand planning of APO

3. Planning Versions - You can have one active planning version and as many inactive planning version and compare & analyse results

4. Planning Key Figures like, Wholesales, Target Stock, Target Day supply etc., - We can get the key figures possible.

5. Allocation of Requirements to Factories. - Deployment & TLB in APO can cover these requirements.
