.classpath file is Read Only while creating projects.

Hi All,

While creating projects from DTR, NWDS is throwing the following Exception:

org.eclipse.jdt.core.JavaModelException: File /<Tarck~Application>/.classpath is read-only.

and Task view of NWDS is full of errors with messages like <file name>.java , <name>.gsimpletype

files are read only And class path is incomplete.

As a work around i have uncheck the read only property of .classpath file locally.

Also i tried Repair project structure and class path option but after doing this it has marked lots of files for deletion from DTR.

i am not sure whether this is the right way to fix this issue and what caused this.

Any inputs/suggestions are most welcome.

Siddharth,

make sure the file you are trying to checkout has already been checked out or not.

try to repair,rebuild the project and reopen NWDS.

right click on the file and select DTR-edit
