I want to know how to send/trigger mails(with a document attached) automatically on timely basis like once in a week.

Hi,

Workflow can be used by help of Workflow abap consultants.

Certain conditions can be imposed in workflow based on required status,time etc by triggering of which mail will be generated and sent to the concerned user.

It is possible only with the help of workflow consultant,hence you contact them and explain your requirement or else place your query in proper Forums.

This is not available standard. You would need to trigger with a batch job with ABAP.
