update type in MC25

Dear all,

I have a self-defined info strcuture S506 and i run it via MCSI for getting the value of Open order.I have defined the updating rule as following,

the event ;VC

the update type ;A

Souce table is MCLIPS

Source field name ; APOAUWE

requirment ;404 Actual goods isuue.

However, the result always add the previous value and is not the curren value.

i feel confuse and comapred the updating rule of s001, the setting is nearly same except the requirment of the filed.

i tried to change the 'update type' from 'A' to 'B' and the system pop the erro 'the key field was uesed with the othe update type A'

__now, my question is how to overwrite the field value if i use the update type 'A' and why the update type could't be changed?_

A is 'cumulative update' and B is 'data transfer'. With option A the new value will be added (or subtracted) to the existing value, with B the existing value will always be overwritten by the new one.

I've never seen the message you've mentioned, but maybe you're supposed to have either A or B on all key figures and you've tried to set one to A and another to B? Also look at the long text for the message.
