BDLS execution time

Hello All,

I have executed BDLS after DB Refresh, Its took more than 9 hours to complete (Big Database).

Kindly suggeest any other way to speed up BDLS execution time.

Hi,

Increasing the "Number of Entries Per Commit" can make a significant difference. Our DB was taking ~30hours with default setting. Increasing this to 15,000,000 reduced this to ~12 hours. You will need to monitor to make sure your database can handle it thought.

Our BDLS took 43.5 hours .

It depends on the no of tables of where the logical entries are present

BDLS is a time consuming activity and usually is done while all users are locked so nobody interfere with the process... I'm not surprise that it took 9+ hours... it all depends on the size of the DB and the resources available on the system
