Actual Activity Costs, Actual activity rates

Hi,

We have a requirement wherein the client wants to know the actual activity costs and the actual activity rates as against the planned activity rates maintained in KP26.

How would I be able to achieve this. Is there any standard T code which gives the desired result?

Hi,

plan the Activity in kp26. then load the budget for those activity(labour wages) in respective cost center.

By executing KSPI System calculate the rate per labour hour for that activity.

Hi Swapvik,

For planned activity rate, the trasaction code is KSPI. Once after running this transaction code, the planned rates will be updated in system which you can see in KP26 as well as KSBT transaction code.

For actual acitivity prices, you have to run KSII transaction code. Once you run this, you go to KSBT transaction code again and selected the required parameters (cost center, activity type ect) and execute. There you will be able to see both Plan and Actual rate of activity type in that cost center.

The "Price Indicator" column in that report differentiates the activity price into plan or actual (Price indicator from 1 to 4 is for Plan and 5 to 8 is for Actual).

Try this and reply.

Thanks Srikanth for the response.

Can you give me some more clarification:

The Price indicator field is to be maintained in the master of activity type. Do you mean to say that you need to maintain different activity type for plan and actual?

No, on the activity type there is room for a plan and an actual "price determination method".

Activity types remain same for both Actual & Plan values.

System will track both Actual & Plan values separately depending on transactions we perform.

You may follow the transactions mentioned in previous blogs... You will be able to get the desired results...

For e.g, when you use transaction CON2 - Collective Processing, system will post the difference (Actual price - previously charged planned price) to each production order.

Hope this helps

To calculate the actual rate, you need to use the KSII transaction. You will be able to see the plan vs actual rates on the cost centre/ production order reports. Choose the one which suits your circumstances.

If you need to redo the postings on the orders, you can use KON2 and CON2, depending on the circumstances.
