Archiving of XML Messages

Hi Everybody,

I am working on Synchronus Interfaces.

Is it possible to archive Synchronous Messages?

Can somebody help me out with the configuration for same.

hi, yes u can archive the synch messages ,

1) set the archiving job at sxmb_adm--->schedule archiving jaob.

2) set the parameter at sxmb_adm-- intigration engine configuration---specific configuration under category runtime LOGGING_sync to 1. by default value is 0.

3) if message is in error state u wont be able to archive directly. u need to cancel the message first , for this run the prog RSXMB_CANCEL_MESSAGES.

Hi,

I have configured logical file path and all the steps required for Archiving.

Have given a periodic job and configuration in SXMB_ADM is also done.

The job is completed successfully but messages are not archived from SXMB_MONI.

Archive file is also not created.

Can somebody help me out on this?

In my opinion sync messages cannot be archived. It could only be retained for some particular days in the database.

Hi EveryBody,

I have configured for Archiving of XML messages and Defined logical file and path.

But I am not able to see the message Archived in the file.

However messages are getting deleted from SXMB_MONI but unable to see Archived messages.

Can Somebody help me out about this problem?

Hi,

if you have scheduled archiving jobs then check in log of tcode SM37. if the archive files has been created then you can see the messages in SXMB_MONI-ARCHIVED MESSAGES.Check sap note no. 717532 for clarifying doubt about archiving of synchronous messages.

Hi,

for archiving goto SXMB_ADMIN-SELECT INTERFACES for archiving here you select inbound/outbound interfaces to archiving. then in same tcode SXMB_ADMIN-schedule archiving job.
