Smartform invoice print font

We are Using ECC6.0 SP15

We have been facing font issue during smartform print output.Here is

the scenario,

1. When we print Invoice using printer "LOCL " access method "F"

devicetype SWIN it printing fine.

2. When we print same invoice using "Remote/Network printer

(ZNETWORK),access method "U",device type HP4250:HPLJ4250 R4.5+", it

does not print actual fonts.It prints with diffrent font and some black

lines.

Since we are using ECC6 Do i need to install any additional fonts.

This solution may help you to identify which font family your printer is printing. This depends on the device type that you have selected.

Goto SP02, identify the spool request number that is generated usig locl. Now from menu, GOTO--> Display Requests --> Settings and select display mode as Raw. ( select this radio button) and enter. Now click on display you will see your form output, try to identify which font family it is picking up during changing of different output device.

Note: in this OTF format you can identify the font family with following notation.

FCHELVE 080

Here FC --> Font Change, Helve --> font family and 080 font size.

I guess, above information may gives you some light to solve your question.

Look for OSS and Ping Basis's desk phone and let them know about this.Perhaps they would be right person to take care of this,rather than as an ABAPer waiting so long.

Also since we are using windows print server for network printing, do i need to Install sapgui on print serverWe have not installed sapgui on print server.
