incompletiog for material at item level in sales order.

Hi all,

Sales order is getting saved without entering the material at item level. So, i've set the incompletion log for standard item 20

Table NAME- VBAP

Field Name - MATNR

Screen - PKAU

When i've tested the ales order it's still getting saved without entering the material.Please advise .

Go to VOV8 select yr order type view it there you will find Incomplete message tick that check box and then create new order and try to save W/O entering the material at item level.

As you have assigned the incompletion log then Firstly check the status group as 01 or 02 is assigned or not and then also check in VOV7 wheather the incompletion log is assigned or not .

Hi ,

check your sales document type header settings in VOV8 , there you might be de activate incomlete messages indicatior,If you mark the field and then try to save a sales document in which

information is missing, the system advises you that the document is incomplete.

Hi

1. Check the status which is assigned to MATNR. Assign 04/06 which ever is relevent for you.

2. Check the item category of your sales order item and check the Incompletion Log 20 is assigned or not..
