Planning area initialisation error

Hi All,

We are facing an issue here while trying to initialise the planning areas in SAP SCM 5.0.

The standard planning areas are not initialised except 9ADP01, further once we created a new planning area, while initializing it an errpr message is getting displayed in the status bar.

Internal error [/SAPAPO/OM_TS_CHANGE_TG]

We are unable to even initialize the other standard planning areas as well.

Could anyone throw some light on this issue.

Hi,

This looks like some thing wrong with the DB. Run the DB consistency check in OM17 and also the activate the relevant planning object Structure before you initialize the planning area. Ofcourse having atleast one CVC is a prereq. for POS activation.

Thanks a ton, the problem is solved. There was a live cache error. Planning version was incosistent.

Please tell how do we correct the Planning version inconsistency in SCM5.0

Hi Asheesh,

Did you run the consistency check /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK and the DB check in OM17?
