what settings are required in sap and ms project for open ps to do upload and download actions correctly.

Dear Harsh,

I had the same problem what i did is that i first i created a Project in SAP Project system and then uploaded it in SAP Open PS version 2.02.01. Saved the Project This will ensure that you will get the Exact required template needed to upload Ur DATA. Try this i think this should solve your problem

Dear Harsh ,

1. Created a project in SAP PS.

2. Download the Project to SAP MS Project file.

3. This will create a template with the data you had maintained in the SAP PS.

4. Use this Template as a Standard Template.

5. See the additional Columns and compared to you MS project to be loaded.

5. Maintain your MS Project DATA in this template to be loaded in SAP PS.

6. Then try Uploading the same to SAP PS.

initially try with just few WBSE, Network and activities

This definitely works, Only thing is that you have to maintain some additional Columns to ensure that the WBSE , Network, activities are created as per your requirement.

ya document is good but project doesn't get uploaded ; i mean only project definition gets created not the webs element.

before we had so much difficulty in upload and download of projects using open PS..

after escalating to SAP they discovered that the libraries must be updated..

so after doing all the steps mentioned in the link mentioned in previous post, and if still it doest work try to update your SAP GUI ensuring that it has the latest library..
