Status Change for IM Program Position

Hi,

I would like to know if there is any impact on setting status of IM Program Position to release vs. leaving it as Created. For WBS element I understand that the status change is critical since if we do not release nothing can be posted to WBS element. So I just want to know if it is important to release IM Program position as well.

txn IM12

go to any IM position

Click on sys status and user status button

Click on tab business process

see if the required processes are green in CRTD

if so then do nothing
