constraints

Dear all,

I my project i am using activities and networks for date planning and scheduling only not for costing.

But as i've planned earliest start and finish dates for activities then constraints comes automatically as must start on.And scheduling is not happing due to this constraints .I am using farward scheduling.I need to change date and schedule that activities.

What are the problems ?

try using relationships on the activities instead of contraints..

perhaps it is better for your scenario.. do not put any constraints (except maybe only on first or last activity), input the durations and relationships and allow the system to do the scheduling..

Now i am dooing the same.I am not putting dates in activities and i am putting days.

Now its working ok.
