How the copy controls working for repair orders means my client creating the repair order with reference of service notification and service order.The process is service notification-service orders-repair order.

could please suggest the copy controls between service notification and reoair order.where i will maintain cinfiguration settings.

As these 3 are of Sales order type so you can create copy control by using T Code VTAA.

Hi KV,

I think thats the std. functionality in SAP.

Use t-code IW51 for creating notification, On the same screen you find the tab Service order which help you to create the service order (IW31).

after that once the repair or service is done then you can confirm it in IW41.

I think the flow should be Notification - repair order - service order.

a reapir order is first used to capture all the revenue and cost related activity. You can also manage all the returns for repairs, sending back the repaired item and then billing the customer for the returns. A service order is created w.r.t a repair order and the customization is done in PM module.
