Simulated requirements in availability overview

Hi experts,

One sales order contains one line item with one delivery date. When running availability check, why simulated requirements show many lines with the same date & the same qty required in screen"availability overview" (clicking "totals records")?

Pls advise. Thx.

Hi cathy

May be in that 1st sales order there could be one line item with delivery date 05/01/2009.And now when you are running the availability check by simulating there could be so many other orders with the same delivery date 05/01/2009.

Say the present sales order is 5th sales order which has 1 line item with delivery date 05/01/2009.

The 1st, 2nd ,3rd & 4th sales orders may have many line items and say the 3rd sales order line item might be having delivery date 05/01/2009 only.

So when you are simulating then based on delivery date the items will be delivered

NOTE : As delivery date is one of the Split parameter for delivery also
