Hour based discounts/Promotion

Hi friends,

I've a requirement that our customer need discount on hourly basis.

Can any one help me out how to do this configuraitons?

If the requirement is to give discount on hourly basis then you need to assign a New requirement / Alt calc type to the discount condition condition type. By giving inputs to the ABAP'er the tabels and feilds and the

You give the logic to the ABAP'er that if KUNNR places orders beteween so & so time then the KUNNR should get X% discount and if the KUNNR places orders between so & so time then the KUNNR should get Y% discount

As, Ravi already Suggested one of good option in addition to that

Before maintaining Unit of measure as Hour in VK12 transaction

First You need to define Unit Of Measure HR (Hour) in the IMG through this path

IMG>SAP net/weaver>General settings>Check Unit Of Measurement>Unit Of Measurment.

Hi Sridhar,

I have not tried, but maintain in your Pricing Procedure, a discount Condition Type with "Calculation Type" field as "Fixed Amount" and also maintain the Value in condition record in VK11 for that condition type with "Unit of Measure" as "HR".

Let me know if any issues.
