delivery date in sales order

Hi experts,

Delivery scheduling & transportation scheduling have not been activated, where is delivery date is determined from? Pls advise. Thx.

Background: Sales order is created on Jan 2. And the proposed delivery date is Jan 6.

GR Processing Time is 2 days while opening period is 7 workdays in SchedMargin key.

It picked up the date on the basis of GR processing time plus the holidays in the calendar.

As 3 & 4 are weekends which should be marked as holiday in the calendar, it added them to the GR processing time and gave you the delivery date as Jan 6.

Dear Cathy,

In MMR - View: MRP2, you will get Scheduling Screen where you will get:

--> In-house production

--> GR processing time

--> Plnd delivery time

Also, in T. Code: VOV8

check the Lead Time. The relevant document type and in there Requested Delivery Date and there you will get Lead time in days and you can entar the number of days there. As it Specify the number of days after the current date that the proposal for the requested delivery date in the sales document should be
