Dear All,

I have a value contract for service (AMC) with periodic billing plans. To map this functionality in SAP,

Can i create a value contract with periodic billing plans in VA41& i invoice directly from contract VF01 without sales order.

Please advise me any implications when i create billing directly from contract.

Hi,

I am not sure but i think you can try your requirement with Rental Contract, where you can bill directly from the Contract, and it is also Periodic Billing.

here what is said about how to bill the value contract :

Billing

You can bill the value contract either directly, or per release order. If you want to bill the value

contract directly, you have to create a billing plan for the value contract. This enables you to bill

the value contract for several dates, and for partial values. If you change the value of an item in

the value contract, the system automatically adjusts the open billing dates so that the complete

value is billed.

So,

Yes you can bill directly without release order
