Settlement error

Hi Experts,

I am working on settlement.

We are doing settlement from Order to Asset directly.

While doing so, I am using the different GL account (Say A) in Allocation structure, where I have used in PO (Say B) is different.

While doing so, I m getting the following error

1.Complete allocation structure IM.

I would like to know what are the pre-requiste GL accounts, for settling the cost directly from Order to Asset.

Further guide me to resolve this issue.

Hi

You need to complete the allocation structure. The source cost elements for order needs to be included in the allocation. Check it. if you have used cost element group in allocation structure then correct it in KAH2.

In addition to Virendra and Hemants suggestions I would suggest you take a look at the asset (FA) master data as well.

Some times an FA is created (automatically) with incomplete master data (esp due to field status) and that affects the settlement.

check on whihc cost element is the positng on the order

ensure that this cost elemen is set up in the allocation structure IM

you should be ok then
