Grouping WBS element

Hello Guru's,

Initially I wish u all a very very happy new Year 2009.

I have one problem regarding the grouping WBS element,

I have initialised the grouping ind. in the Project,so all the WBS element's related to this project will consider all the stocks when MRP runs.

So, I have procured some parts against one WBS elements via PR/PO.

The other WBS element's have these parts in finish code BOM along with others.

When i carry the MRP for this WBS , The whole BOM materials r not planned instead it is considering only the parts procured from first WBS only.i.e. BOM is not exploding.

Is there any other settings to be check?

prerequisites for requirements grouping

Project definition

should be valuated project stock

should have automatic requirements groupings ticked

WBS element

Select one WBS usually top level as grouping WBS

PS customising

MRP group that allows grouping

Material master data

Planning screen 1 - MRP group that allows grouping

Material must be managed using sales order stock or project stock

Materila Lot size cannot be "exact", should be periodic

check all these and you should be OK
