Hi Experts,

mine is an R/3 to XI scenerio. And this si a prod issue. There has been no change dobne in months. Some Idocs posted from r/3 to XI are giving the following error

Could not find code page for receiving system.

I hav connected to R/3 from XI through Remote Connection in SM59 - abap type, and from there i hav reconnected to XI server through sm59- abap type.

I can see errors in SM58 of R/3 with errors, with multiple users.

I hav checked the sm59 - unicode and language stuff, recommended by many in SDN, it is OK..

No changes has been done i R/3 and XI prod in months!

Issue seems to hav started yesterday, getting errors in we02/05. And still persisting.

Regards,

Arnab

Hi Arnab,

Also check this, If it helps you.

If the IDoc Structure is changed in the sender or receiver system, the metadata cache in the XI system must be updated. To update the metadata in the XI system, you must delete the old metadata in Transaction IDX2.

During processing of the next XI message using this data, the cache will be filled automatically.

Varun

Hi All,

It was an issue with the DNS server, that needed refreshing, typically a networking issue. However, many thanks to al of you.

Hi,

As you had mentioned this kind of problem occurs due to langause and Unicode conflicts, but it seems to be ok in this case.

Can you confirm if recently any enhancments patch have added on R/3 or XI.

Also have a look over SAP Note 747322

Thanks

Swarup
