Payment terms field in SC with Input help

I want to have payment terms field while creating Shopping Cart. Is it possible? How?

Aakash,

Payment terms are defaulted based on vendor details as explained by our SRM expert Muthu. Adding this field in SC will not do any good to your business process. The reasons are below:

1) Adding the Field:

"Can I have this field in SC?" -> Yes, but you have to go ahead with a customer field. Please refer the below notes for achieveing this:

672960 - user-defined fields
676016 - user-defined fields

2) Impact of this:

If user enters a payment term & vendor detail in the SC, there is always a possibility that the can be different. Then which one will you consider in the PO. You need to build checks for these in SC, PO etc and just merely adding complexity to the process. The best approach is to leave it at PO level, as this is the document that vendor acts on.
