sales area customers

Hi

while trying to creat a customer with specific sales area system is not allowing to creat i am an error message "Sales area is not maintaind/created" when i entered the customer #, enterered sales area and entered the "customer's sales area" button nothing happens. i checked the KNVV table the sales area is not there.

Can some one provide me some details how to creat a customer with sales area.

Following are the few check-points:

T. Code: OVXG - Set Up Sales Area

T. Code: OVXA - Assignment: Division --> Sales Org

T. Code: OVXK - Assignment: Distr. Channel --> Sales Org

T. Code: VOR1 - Maintain Common Dist. Channel.

T. Code: VOR2 - Maintain Common Division.

T. Code: OVAO - Assign Reference Sales Organisation.

T. Code: OVAM - Assign Reference Distribution Channel

T. Code: OVAN - Assign Reference Division

I think, You need to check with above stated Transaction, to find-out and resolve the issue.

Hi

Go to OVAZ and check wheather the sales document type has been assigned to your sales area or not

Go to VOR1 and VOR2 also and check wheather the common dist channel and common divisions have been maintained or not. If not maintained then maintain and then create CMR
