Stock in transit by outbound delivery

Hi all.

When shipping a Stock Transfer Order through transaction VL10B and posting later the outbound delivery created by movement type 641 the stock goes from plant A storage location 1 to stock in transit to plant B but not to the store location 2. With this 641 goods go to a transit stock only at plant level but does not go to a storage location level.

Is there any other movement to be used in an outbound delivery or any user exit to move the stock from a plant and storage location to a stock in transit both at plant and storage location level? so that the stock in transit can be display in MMBE at stock in transit at storage level.

This is a customer requirement.

Dear Francisco

As you would agree there is no separate storage location for "Stock in Transit" and in fact, even in TCode MB5T, you have the option to select "Receiving Plant" and "Issuing Plant".

Also, once stock transfer is made via 641, the material cost will only get updated in receiving plant and once the receiving plant do MIGO, only then the quantity will get updated in receiving plant. These updations you can see in TCode mcdot9.

Under the circumstances, I dont think, you can see the stock in transit "storage location wise".
