Hi Revathi,

U can use the standard BAPI BAPI_PO_CREATE1 on both sides ..

For this u have to first import into XI and do the necessary mappings etc... and also important is ALE configuration on both sides ...

If u need the documentation give u r mail id so that i can send u the details...

Or better way is use IDOC ..check this weblog /people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/03/creating-purchase-order-idoc-through-xi

Could you please send me the relevant documents for this scenario.

If you don't mind, Are you currently working on XI?

and Are you from A.P?.

hi,

you mean IDOC -> bapi ?

why don't you use IDOC -> IDOC ?

this will be standard and very easy to acomplish

IDOC ORDERS -> IDOC PORDCR

and you'll have it done...

Thanks a lot for your information.

So for IDOC -> IDOC, Please let me know the navigation

for this scenario.

Need one clarification, Is it possible from IDOC->BAPI?

If so please provide me some information on this.

Thanks & Regards

>>>>Need one clarification, Is it possible from IDOC->BAPI?

yes of course but why use bapi?

you cannot monitor BAPIs in the target system

as you can idocs so try idocs if you have no particular

reason to use BAPIs

>>>>So for IDOC -> IDOC, Please let me know the navigation

for this scenario.

1. outbound orders idoc from PO - WE20 + MN04

2. inbound PORDCR - WE20

Hi Revathi,

If you want to do an IDOC to IDOC scenario, then the Points to be noted are:

1. You don’t need a DT, MT or a message interface for the IDOC as it itself acts as the Message Interface.

2. You import the IDOC and use the same in your mapping.

3. You do not need a sender IDOC adapter, and no sender agreement, but a receiver IDOC adapter and a receiver agreement is needed.

IDOC -> File scenario ref:

/people/prateek.shah/blog/2005/06/08/introduction-to-idoc-xi-file-scenario-and-complete-walk-through-for-starters

File -> IDOC ->

/people/anish.abraham2/blog/2005/12/22/file-to-multiple-idocs-xslt-mapping

(It concentrates on XSLT mapping but also gives an idea about the configuration part. Do go thru that, it might help you.)

Apart from this if you need any info on how to configure your ALE, partnet profile,etc drop me a mail, I have excellent tutors that can help you in the same.

Bhavesh

hi,

have a look at quesiton 4 (documents section)

on the XI FAQ :

/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/06/28/xipi-faq-frequently-asked-questions

for idoc related weblogs which show step by step

configuration of idoc - idoc exchange

that's all you need apart from SAP r3 configuration to send PO idocs
