lock a client

can any body tell me how to lock a client and prevent any of my user from making any transaction on it

Hi..

Talk to your basis team regarding the same.

If you are not from basis team,I dont think you will be having authorization for using scc4.

try this , i think it will help u

There is no direct t.code to lock a client. the easiest way to lock a client is

1. run t code SE37

2. type function module name - SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT

3. enter the Client No.

4. execute the function module.

Hi,

I think you will not have authorize to do these settings.

Goto SCC4, select the client and choose details.

Select the field no changes allowed. If you set this changes is this client are not permitted.

Do not assign any profiles to user. In profiles we assign allowed t.codes.

You can check using t.codes SU01 and SCC4 .

But if you want to lock then tell to your BASIS consultant then he will do it

Hi nany,

This can be done by using the T.Code:SU01.

In SCC4 select the field no changes allowed so it will not allow you to changes.

contact your basis person for this.Explain him the same above requirement.

In SCC4, choose your client and in field 'Protection', maintain either level 1 or level 2.

If you want that nobody should be able to logon in the client, then use the bottom indicator 'Locked due to client copy'
