How to over come "object currently being editted by user xxxxxxxx?

Hi,

Xi gurus,

When i am trying to create receiver agreement i am getting this kind of error "Object Receiver Agreement | ip_multimapping | | bs_multimapping | mi_output currently being edited by user XXXXXXX". I have cleared chache also but no use please farword me the solution.

When it asks for username and password just enter your username with which you were editing the object.

Hi

There might be two possibile reason

1 Either any Object is not Activated

2 Object is locked

To unlock object use

Check in Xi home PageAdministration-Lock Overview

to Delete the locked objects

OR use this URL

http://<XIServerIP>:<Port>/rep/support/admin/index.html

and remover lock

Hi Shabeer,

Check that you have been assigned the role

SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR

then try to unlock the object

Hi,

Probably your object is locked.

Go to Administration -->Directory tab.

Click on 'Lock overview'. You should see that object here. Select it and unlock it.
