Hello Iyyappan,

OC4J itself has problems with javac.exe.

Which java version do you have installed?

Have you added the %JAVA_HOME/bin to the PATH?

Hi Stefan,

Java version is 1.4.2_08. Yes, PATH variable has the java_home/../bin added to that.

Hello,

> Throws me an error " java.exe is not a valid win32 application

Ok that is a point that we can focus on.

I think you have installed the 64-Bit java version.. just check this link (Point Troubleshooting):

http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.1_06/install-windows-64.html

> DB and SAP running on this....

Sorry i dont understand this. Which DB is running on Java? Do you have a Portal installed on this host?

You could also try this to verify it.. but i think it will also not work

shell> G:
shell> cd G:\Oracle\<SID>\102_32\oc4j\j2ee\home
shell >java -jar oc4j.jar -install

Hi Stefan,

I just kept the same java version and have installed the oc4j.

When i type the following command

G:\Oracle\<IDS>\102_32\oc4j\j2ee\home>java.exe -jar oc4j.jar

The response is ---> 08/12/30 19:49:24 Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE 10g (10.1.2.0.2)

initialized

But still the page cannot be displayed.

At the same time I start thru server.cmd, I get the following error.

08/12/30 19:53:58 Invalid jsp taglib location: G:\Oracle\<SID>\sap\brtools\studio\

config\..\jsp\lib\taglib does not exist or is not a directory

08/12/30 19:54:00 Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE 10g (10.1.2.0.2)

initialized

Also in the url i.e. https://<hostname>:8888/studio , i get the following error
