SMTP configuration

Hi,

I am trying to configure SMTP for sending and receiving mails.I am having few issues:

1) Whether the configuration of scot should be done from 000 client

2) What should be the option for code page in scot configuration

3) Whether we have to create a system user in 000 client

Hi,

I had checked the SAP help link but my i need clarification on the following points

recently i configured scot and created system user in my productive client not in 000, and set code page to 0 No conversion into another character set and its so far good.!
