where i have to define site in IMG or in USER MENU

hi experts !!!!!

first i define site in img and did all assignment ( as logic of R/3)

and create material in MM01 and try for sales order --delivery --- invoice i did all things up to accounting document no error its complete

now i assign site profile distribution center to that same site

and now i check img--enterprise stru -log gen- define site --- HERE I CAN'T SEE THAT SAME SITE ITS DISAPPEAR

now i create sales order for same material and same customer

system show there is no site

i am new for IS-Retail

can u please help me

Hi Hanumant ,

Be careful of the IS-Retail config if you are working on a customer project.

1. Make sure your system is switched as a SAP Retail system.

If your SAP system is ECC6.0, go to transaction SFW5.

If you are working with earlier version, run report GETSYSDEF to check the switch, run SETRETAILSYSTEM to do the switch.

2. You should NOT use transaction MM01, instead, MM41 is used for article creation.

3. Site must be created by transaction WB01, the 'site definition' in IMG must NOT be used.

The reason that your sites are 'disappeared' in IMG-Enterprise Structure is the view of this customizing V_T001W has a selection condition VLFKZ = ' ', and all retail sites have VLFKZ -Site category with value 'A' or 'B'.

now i customer for that site and then i did sales cycle its working

customer for site and customer for sales area

its acting differently
