Consuming WSDL from Oracle

Hi everyone

I´ve published an WSDL so a thrid party that has Oracle can consume this WSDL but when they try to access to the service they are receiving the following error:

Error in request with status HTTP 407: Proxy authentication required.

I had published the WSDL and created User and Password.

But I don´t know which authentication is the service requiring.

Can someone give me some light about this??

Thanks in advanced.

Karla

hi Karla,

I can imagine only two kinds of authentications:

- the one that you need to use to access SOAP adapter

so oracle has to use XI user/password to access any

web services defined on the XI

- then if the oracle app is in some other network segment

(behind some firewall etc. then maybe you need to open

that in order to access XI system)

this one can be easily tested just try to open

whe URL from WSLD in the network where the oracle app is placed

and if you can do it then there is no issue - if you cannot then you know

where to look for

Hi Michal

I tried to open the URL where WSDL is located from the net segment in which Oracle app is placed and it was succesfull, they can open it, download it, etc... But when they try to consume the Web Service they are still getting Error that says: "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

Do you have more ideas??

Now I gave them a User that I use to access to XI, so they can test what you said about access to Web Service defined on XI.

Thanks in advanced
