Will Windows vista home will support for SAP installation

Hi Gurus,

Wishing you a happy new year in advance....

Will windows vista home support if at all I install in my laptop....As I am fresher in SAP SD.

As your advise is very important for me do i have to change the VISTA to WINDOWS 2000.

Please looking forward your suggestions.

Yes. SAP can be installed and also works fine on Vista. My entire comany runs SAP on Vista itself.

Hey,

you can partion the system with two operating systems. so that sap you can do it with windows 2003 other one may be vista or any other for the other task like internet. this is not advisable but it is the best way every body doing.

Yes,Windows Vista home will supports for SAP installation.You can install it in your laptop.

You need not change to 2000.
