Oracle patch installation from 9.2.0.7 to 9.2.0.8

Hi Basis Gurus,

We are planning to do Oracle patch installation from 9.2.0.7 to 9.2.0.8 on our Quality BW 3.5 system,OS is Solaris 5.9 and DB is Oracle 9.2.0.7.

Please let us know what all settings we have to perform before starting Oracle patch installation.
