Estimate projects on Hours

Hello,

It would be helpful for me if anyone answer the below questions.

1) Is it possible to calculate the value of the projects based on Projects (hrs) or only with internal Order?

2) Is it possible to treat hours as budget?

3) Is it possible to maintain multiple budgets in hours for each project?

Please find pointwise reply on your querry :

1) Is it possible to calculate the value of the projects based on Projects (hrs) or only with internal Order?

Yes it is possible to have the Hours based Project costing with Account integration i.e. cProjects integration with CO (Internal Orders) or PS (WBS elements).

The costing results can be viewed in cProjects.

2) Is it possible to treat hours as budget?

Project Hours cannot be directly entered as Budgeted Hours. One way to maintain control is to plan cost based on project hours & budget the Internal Order or WBS element as per planned cost.

The availability control can then be set for IO or WBS elements to trigger warning messages on budget consumption.

3) Is it possible to maintain multiple budgets in hours for each project?

Did not get the requirement....maintain multiple budgets in hours????
