How to block a particular inspection type while creating a inpection lot manually using QA01 .

Dear Gajesh,

We dont want the users to create inspection lot manually using inspection type 01 . We want to prevent the user using inspection type 01 for transaction QA01 .

You can withdraw rights for QA01 t code from the respective user's profile

Ask your basis guy to do it for you

Hi SAP Lover,

Mr. Syamal said very right , Your Basis guy can assign the authorization in such a way that this object type can be blocked. You want to block '01' inspection type to restrict and other inspection type are OK to make the manual inspection lot then it is quaite possible by just restricted the inspection type '01' object.

Hi,

Yes it can be done. The authorization object for inspection type is "Q_INSPTYPE :- Inspection Type for the Insp. Lot"

Ask your basis guy to set the authorization for the users as per your requirement.

why you want to create 01 inspection type for manual creation, better use 89

it will be clear and good- when you run some report or other purposes

and restrict the user using authorization
