Hi,

You can create new storage location with OX09 t-code.

After enter this t-code, system ask you plant.

Enter plant code in which you want to create storage location. After enter plant you can create new storage location under specific plant.

Hi Piyush,

Path : SPRO> Defination > Materials management > Maintain Storage Locations

T-code : OX09

Now you will be asked for the plant for which you want to creat Storage locations.

Once you will enter the plant you will get already existing storage locations for the plant.

To creat new storage location

Either select new entries from the screen or you can selece "copy as" and copy existing storeage location to a new name.

Hi,

You can define & Assign new storage locations to Plants in customization under the node:

SRPO->SAP Reference IMG->Enterprise Structure->Definition->Materials management->Maintain Storage Locations

To extend existing storage locations for a material:

There is a way of creating storage locations automatically in certain transactions.

For Example: In Inventory Management if you have activated automatic storage location (for a plant & movement type), & for a material if you have the settings for Auto storage location, A storage location is automatically created at the time of goods receipt if it does not exist for the material already.
