Hi,
Can any one plz explain the use of Adapter specific message attributes for both sender and receiver communication channel in the FILE Adapter?
Hi,
To save adapter attributes in the message header of the XI message, select Set Adapter-Specific Message Attributes.
Refer this link for more details:(file sender)
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ae/d03341771b4c0de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
For receiver:

To get the source file name at the receiver side you can select the adapter-specific mesage attributes with file name on both the sender and the receiver adapter.

hi,
If you want to post the xml file with the same file name as that of the sender file name then use the option ASMA.
