NW7.0 SR3 installation error CJS-30197

The sapinst kept running into the following error during NW 7.0 SR3 installation on Solaris platform. It seems an error during creating user SAPJSF. I searched the forum and the only answer I could find is that the reason of this error is that SAPJSF already existed in the system. I login to NW instance and searched user SAPJSF, but this user didn't exist. I even tried to create the user and Retry the installation, still failing... I appreciate any pointer!

Hi Warren,

Thanks a lot for the pointer! I did apply the Solaris resource control that's mentioned in note 724713, before the installation. What I didn't get is why the resource control parameter has an impact on the user creation that's related to this error? Do you have any insight to the fundamental cause of this error?

Hi,

As you are installing on a Solaris platform it is important you apply the recomendations in note 724713.

Have you applied note 724713? if not, please apply and restart the installation.
