Hi All,
I have to establish connection between SAP BC and WEB Server. As i know , i have to maintain the connection settings in Remote Server in BC Connector.
Is User Id and Pwd require to maintainn Remote Server Setting, as we get only IP Address and Port no.
When i checked with the Administrator, he told the no user id and pwd is require.
Please let me know, how to connect my SAP BC with another WEB Server. If anyone have any document related to this, please share with me.
Thanks
Piyush

What exactly do you want to do with that other Web server ? receive data ? send data ? In what format ?
You do not need to configure Remote Server for that. Just use the normal pub.client.http service, for sending or receiving data. That is one option. Or you can configure a routing rule with transport type XML, and then enter an URL there. That is another option.

HI Piyush
What exactly you are trying to do with connecting SAP BC to another web server. if you are on 4.7 it will connect to SAP WEB AS automatically.
Moreover all guides are with the Developer or server folders while installation.
We need to use only IP and port for SAP web AS connection but for external server/multiple server i am not sure you can use in similar way.
Thanks
Gaurav

hi,
>anyone have any document related to this, please share with me.
all BC related documents that you ever need are always in two doc folders
one can be found in
Developer\doc
second in
Server\doc
