Loader in MaxDB, Windows, Contnet Server 4.6

Hi gurus,

We have windows based content server 4.6 version.

I need to export some data from the content server.

1. How to check loader installed or not.

2. how to access the loader (Is it from command prompt??)

Please guide.

I don't really think you found the right subforum for your question(s), but I can try to answer you here.

You can find out more about MaxDB's Loader in our official documentation, easily located at maxdb.sap.com, Documentation, then select your version.

Which MaxDB version are you currently using? Possibly an older (i.e. SAP DB) version?

We are using MaxDB 4.6

Client asked me to extract the employee photos from content server and give them to him.

Some one told me we can extract using Loader.

How to see whether loader is installed (in content server) or not????

If installed how to access loader???? Is it from command prompt (we have content server on windows)????

Hi,

MaxDB 4.6? I think you're mixing up the R/3 version (probably 4.6D EXT2 kernel) and the MaxDB version (probably 7.6) here.

Regarding the use of our MaxDB Loader to retrieve the images; I'm pretty sure it will not work as you want. You'll probably be better off having someone from the application side (i.e. Content Server) taking a look at your request. I suggest you open an official OSS message for your request to get an answer and not wait here for one.
