Error in phase:DDIC_ACTIVATION

reason for error: TP_STEP_FAILURE

-Return code:0008

-Error message:OCS Package SAPK-603DDINEAAPPL, tp step A,return code 0008

i got this error above when installing Enhance pack 3

please urgen help is needed..

well thanks for the respond,after been frustrated with the installation i finally uninstalled the system and started all over again..will follow you posts when i encounter the problem again at dd activation.will keep you all posted.

well i got to the same face again and got the same error

i went to stsm and deleted the transport that has the problem sapk-603ddineaappl and ran saint again

to my surprise it finished with return code 0 but when i got to import_proper i get another error which says

Error in phase:Import_proper

-reason for error:TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY

-return code:0008

error message:pkgs in gueue dont exist in the tp buffer)eg sapk-603ddineaappl )

During the upgrade of Software component ECC-SE 603. You would encounter error in phase

Error :Activation error due to inconsistencyin structure ISM_IOBPR_ADSPECThis is due to missing data element ISM_SORTWORD in the structure.To solve the problem:Create and Activate the datalement ISM_SORTWORD - create a data element: ISM_SORTWORD- give in as domain: CHAR25- give in Further Characteristics: SORTWORD_ADSPEC_LEVEL- give in field label:10 Sort Word15 Sort Word AdSpc20 Sort Word Ad Specs25 Sort Word for Ad Specs

1. Go to Transaction SE11

2. Create data elementu2018ISM_SORTWORDu2019

>> Define the Data type and Field label asmentioned.>> Save and activate the data element

Activate the Structure and continue with theImport of the Addon inSAINT
