Problem with Layout Editor between 4.7 and ECC 6

Hi All,
I am facing a different problem with the layout editor. I have to make modifications in a particular screen in two systems 4.7 and ECC 6.
The layout editor opens for 4.7 but ECC 6.0 it is not opening. I get the error msg "EU_SCRP_WN32 : timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV'". My system has the latest SAP GUI.
Kindly help.

Check firewalls and other security tools(from your PC and ECC part to), also read
