can we delete inspection type in mass processing?

Dear QM Gurus,

i had activated the wrong inspection type in HALB materials now i want to delete the qrong inspection type from all HALB materials.

I deactivated the inspection type from QA08 in mass processing but am not able to delete the inspection type.

is it possible to delete the inspection Type In mass processing?

Hello Faiza,

If I understand correctly, you want to deactivate the inspection types for the materials . You can do it through QA08 only.

Choose tha tab Deactivate inspection type, choose the option create change documents and put the inspection type that you want to deactivate . Run it for all the materials that you want to deactivate the inspection types for.

Revert in case you still face problem .

Hi,

Yes, It is possible to delete the inspection Type In mass processing and the procedure is as follows.

1. Choose Logistics>Quality management>Quality planning -->Logistics master data --> Material ® Inspection setup

2. Choose Deactivate insp. type.

3. Select the materials, for which you want to deactivate the inspection type. You can make the selection by using the plant, material, the material type and the material class.

4. Enter the required inspection type.

5. Edit indicators
