Hi!
I have the following simple questions working with SAP XI 7.0
1) How to delete for ever the objects in Configuration: Integration Builder?
I have a lot of communication channels that I will never need.
When I delete the objects from Scenarios of Objects the communication channels appears on change List again....
2) what is the prerequisite to use the button "map selected fields and substructures.." in Design: Integration Builder within Message Mapping.
This button in almost allways deactivated.
By default only the button "Edit Java Sections" is active.
3) When I map the fields in Message Mapping I do not see the darts signs "-->".
I am on SAP XI 7.0 SPS 14, with Java Version 1.6.0_10.
Any helpful information will be very appreciated!

1) you need to activate the deletion to make the deletion valid.
2) use JDK 1.5 or 1.4.14 up to have the button active. Lower JDK version leads to deactivation of the button.
3) Click on the button "Dependencies" to display the mapping link.

Hi!
This is very strange.
My java_home variable shows to the right java
C:\j2sdk1.4.2_17-x64.
Unfortunately when I execute >java -version
I get
java version "1.6.0_10"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_10-b33)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0-b15, mixed mode)
Also the XI tools telling me that the java version 1.6.0_10 will be used.
Question:
How can I correct this error?
Do I have the possiblity to change the java setting for XI tools?
Thank you!
regards
Holger

1. Just make right click on object and choose "delete". Then go to Change List and activate the deleted object.
When you remove object from change list, the object is not deleted, you just cant see it in you scenario.
3. Look in this figure:
