Document status

Dear Friend's

Once i created document through CV01N transction that document status sets as a IW (not released).

Once document status sets as IW(not released) then our senoir people releases the document by setting Document Status as RE(Released).

Here my requirement is when i have to assign any document to WBS Element or Network activity that should be released ( Document status must be RE ) then I will be able to assign that document to particular WBS Element or Network Activity.

Now what is happening which ever document having document statuses IW (not released) those i can assign to WBS Element or Network Activites.

Logically this is not correct.Only those document i can assign whose document status is RE(Released).

Help me how i can resolve above problem.

Hi,

After creating a document in DMS, let it get released, once the document is released, by using authorization object C_DRAD_OBJ (Create/Change/Display/Delete Object Link) you can maintain objects to which this released document has to be linked.

Hi,

You can use authorization C_DRAW_OBJ to control object linking based on status and document type.
