Hi Gurus,
How to find out, a user logged into whether Dialog Instance/ Central Instance?
To be very precise, message server--->directing the user based on the load but the question
here is which instance no?
Thanks
Ahamed
HI
For any multiple application server system, the Central system is essentially the one that has the ENQUEUE process configured for itself. This can be seen in the SM51 screen.
To check what instance you are logged in , simply click on the arrow at the bottom right corner of the initial SAP Session Manager screen. Clicking on the box next to the instance name would also give you details about the client you are logged in, the transaction you are running etc.
Alternately, Running transactions like ST02 also give the instance name in the Title

Hi Ahamed
Most of the times hostname is similar to instance name that you will get it on the rightside bottom of sap screen
there are tcodes which shows the instance name of the user logged in by default
check tcode :- ST06 you will get the instance name at the top
you can also try SM66 - global process overview
AL08 - Users Logged On
to check logon load balancing
tcode :- SLMG shows:. Logon Group Instance Status
hope this will help you
cheers
