Display only 1st level BOM in Order

Hi,

My req. is as under:

We r using Multilevel BOM explode for material in order via Item category.

i.e. my main material has a Bom and its Components in turn have some Bom

Now my issue is that in VA01 i want to display only 1st level of BOM explosion

and not the entire explosion *i.e. BOM of the main material only to be seen and the BOM

of the sub-items to be hidden*

Any suggestions on the same

okay have you tried changing the configuration profile settings(CU42), where under config tab choose config parameters->single level BOM and see....

Hi SAP SD GUY,

Please try changing your BOM Item category settings(T code:VOV7) where the Structure scope indicator is to be changed to 'A' if you require only single level explosion and hide further explosion of sub-components in the sales order.

but yes i know this but i think u have not understood my requirement

i wanna explode multilevel bom in order but wanna display only the 1st level of bom

because the total line item goes above 500 hence i just wanna show the 1st level of explode of bom in my order

in ur case it will not do the multilevel explode and then not fill-in my need
