Hi Everyone,
I have two Software Components(SC) 'A' and 'B'. I imported them into the DEV system 'X' and were working fine.
Later, i added the dependencies of 'B' to 'A' and reimported it in IB. But i cannot see a new branch with dependent objects.
Also if i reimport 'A' in another DEV system 'Y' , which is connected to the same SLD, it's displaying the dependencies.
I have cleared cache of every components on 'X' and i have restarted 'Y' system and 'X' system, but i cannot see the new branch.
Kindly help me in this issue.
Best Regards,
Arun.
Hello,
Like pointed by Prateek, the dependency has to be Installation Time.
Also, this is the sequence in which you will have to do this,
1. Clear SLD Data Cache in the IR.
2. Re import the 2 SWCV's into the IR using Transfer Objects from SLD option ;i;e, main SWCV first and the dependent next.
Now you should see the Dependencies.

Hi,
The above mentioned step would help to fix the dpendency problem.
Just one additional note about refreshment of SLD cache. Mostly it will not work and of no use.
Directly re-import the SCVs and you may see the dependancy objects.
Michal had given very nice blog to do all these activties step by step. It will help to revise all the steps.
Thanks
Swarup
While defining Usage Dependency, use the dependency context as Installation Time and try again by reimporting.
